The Goff / Gough Family Association was organized in 1982, in Chicago, Illinois. Membership data, back issues, indexes, a searchable data base, and other information is constitute on their Spider web site.

Newsletter for the interchange of genealogical data and history of the Goff (and variant spellings) families who came mainly from England, Germany, Kingdom of the netherlands, Ireland, Scotland, and Wales. Some settled in the British Westward Indies, and in Connecticut, Maryland, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, South Carolina, and Virginia in the 1600s. In the 1700s, some settled in Delaware, Georgia, Kentucky, Maine, Mississippi, Missouri, New Bailiwick of jersey, New York, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, Rhode Isle, Tennessee, Vermont, and West Virginia. During the 1800s, some moved to Nova Scotia, Ontario, and Quebec (Canada), and to Alabama, California, Colorado, Florida, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Louisiana, Michigan, Minnesota, Montana, Nebraska, Ohio, Oklahoma, Oregon, Texas, Washington D.C., and Wisconsin. Later descendants and relatives too lived in Commonwealth of australia, and in Arizona, Arkansas, Idaho, Nevada, New Mexico, N Dakota, Due south Dakota, Utah, Washington, Wyoming, and elsewhere.

A cumulative index to all dorsum bug and to the Goff / Gough Family Association data base is found on their web site. Some indexes are available to all; others are available to members, just.
